Castles and palaces
South Tyrol, and especially Merano and the surrounding area, is known far beyond its borders as the land of castles and palaces. So, what better way to spend a holiday in Lana than to explore the history of the country and follow in the footsteps of noblemen or Empress Sissi from Austria. Discover, for example, Tyrol Castle, Juval Castle, the Stachlburg or the Brandis Ruin, which is located above Lana.
